Oliver Sinclair Clark

Funeral services for Oliver Sinclair Clark will be at 2 p. m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Clark Cemetery in Speer, Okla. Oliver passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 in Paris, Texas, at the age of 71.

Oliver Sinclair Clark was born Feb. 8, 1942, in Speer, Okla., to Walter Henderson and Virginia Dorothy (Meyer) Clark. Oliver served in the United States Army from 1965-1967 in Vietnam as a combat medic and obtained the rank of Specialist. After the Army, he worked as a plumber and at a forgery shop, making parts for helicopters. Oliver enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a member of the VFW and the Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32nd degree mason.

Oliver was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Virginia Clark; brothers: Leonard Clark, Walter Clark, Eugene Clark, Argle Clark, Mark Clark; sisters: Mildred Hensley, June Clark and Mary Clark.

He is survived by his daughter: Alisa Sicree and husband, Matthew of Hubert Heights, Ohio; son: Phillip R. Clark Durham of Conroe, Texas; brothers and sisters: Ester Rich of Oregon, Riley Clark and wife, Pam of Ohio, Otis Clark of Georgia, Stanley Clark and wife, Sherry of Oklahoma, Lina Bell and husband, Buster of Antlers, Linda Saffell and husband, Arthur of Antlers, Nora Ann Erwin of Sawyer, John Clark and wife, Judy of Nashoba, Opal Lane and husband, Bobby of Soper and Sharon Mc-Clain of Antlers; grandchildren: Zachary Sicree, Samantha Sicree, Olivia Sicree, Anna Durham and Sara Durham; as well as many other relatives and friends.
