What have you been up to over the last 10 years?
After high school, I attended Long Beach City College for a few years. I took a lot of Science thinking I would become a science teacher. I then went on to CSULB in 2002. After taking an introductory teaching course, I determined I shouldn’t be a Biology teacher so I took miscellaneous classes for a while. After meeting my wife in 2003, I eventually decided to become a Math teacher. So, now I have a B.S in Math Education and a Teaching Credential but I am still looking for a teaching position. I currently work as an in-home tutor in the evenings. During the day, I volunteer for the woodshop class at Lakewood First Baptist's school.
Wendy and I got married on the cliffs of Laguna in 2005. I am now the father of 3 step-children ages 19, 16 and 11. The 19 year-old just recently left for basic training in the U.S. Army in October. He will be a field medic. The 16 year-old is a sheriff explorer sergeant and a squad leader at his school. He hopes to attend the naval academy and then go on eventually to become the sheriff of LA. The 11 year-old loves Pokemon, video games in general, and legos. He wants to be a video game designer.
