Stephen H. Bud Jones

After attending Jacksonville State U. for two years, I came back to Huntsville not knowing what to do with my life. After attending UNA and Calhoun I still didn't know what I wanted to do, so I got a job with the Huntsville Fire Dept. I have been there for 13(long)years.
In Dec. 1998, I married the woman of my dreams. We've been married for 9 years and have a daughter, Hope, who is 2, and my stepdaughter, Brooke who is almost 14. They are my whole life.

I lived on Billie Watkins St. during high school and had a crazy next door neighbor with an idiot dog named "Pumpkin". One morning in Mrs. Starkey's class, my neighbor stood on her front poarch and screamed her dog's name for 30 minutes or so (Pumpkin always roamed the neighborhood). When Mrs. Starkey commented that she wished that woman would shut up, Michael Nelson stuck his head out of the classroom window and yelled "Hey Bit$#, I've got your pumpkin right here!"
