After HHS graduation went to Hutch Juco for two years. My Calculus teacher there, Mr Britton, (does anyone remember Baby Bird?) inspired my to become an Engineer. Went to Purdue University and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I moved to Tucson, Arizona to work for IBM. After two years I took a 6 month leave of absence (rather a departure from my senses) and went to Germany. I met a girl from Spain in my German class there. Travelled around Europe. Came back to Tucson for two years, then moved back to Munich, Germany to be with Eva. We married in 1989 and shortly thereafter I moved back to the states: 4 years in Evansville, Indiana (where our children were born), 4 years in El Paso, Texas (working in Mexico and learning my wife's native language on company time). We have been in Davis, California (between Sacramento and San Francisco) for nearly ten years now. I have worked for over twenty years for the German multinational company Siemens.
