School Story:
I joined the 68 set in 1970. I was born in Ghana and spent my earlier years there. I was a student at St. John's, Sekondi, Ghana; when the expulsion order for foreigners to leave the country was promulgated. I had to leave with my family for Nigeria. The then commisioner of Education in the Western Region was Dr. Omololu Olunloyo. He made it possible for all displaced students from Ghana to choose the school of their choice. I chose GCI and I believe that was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It is great privilege to be a member of this august body.
