After graduation, I attended WCU for 2 1/2 years, and then took a break from school for a couple of years. I moved to Charlotte and worked in retail. During this time, I met my husband, Steve, a moving and storage entrepreneur. During our courtship and marriage, I went back to college at UNCC, where I earned a BA in Human Development and Learning with a teaching certificate. I enjoyed being a stay at home Mom until my youngest, Neil, entered Kindergarten. At that time, I was a substitute teacher with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for several years. In 1996 my family relocated to Wilmington, NC. where Steve had the opportunity to assist in the family moving business there. In 1997, I attended real estate school, became a REALTOR, and have been selling residential and commercial real estate since 1997.
Steve and I just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We are grateful for our many blessings that include a family where each one loves and respects each other in a way that brings joy to us each day.
