Memorial services for Craig Coles, 48, of Lubbock was at 10 a.m. at Live Oak Community Church with Chuck Williams, pastor, officiating.
Cremation arrangements was under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
Craig died Thursday, Sept. 2,1999, at Covenant Medical Center-Lakeside.
He was born June 29,1951 in Indianola, Iowa. He married the former Joanie Leaver in December 1973, in Lincoln, Neb.
He was a home builder and owned Craig Coles Construction Co. He was a member of Lubbock Home Builders Asso. and Live Oak Community Church.

Craig Coles was a genuinely nice and cute guy. He was a garter snake hunting buddy out on the far recess field in Mrs. Ball's 3rd grade, and he and Steve Aldridge's family lived just behind my Cousins Craig and Deb Ford, when they lived on Howard, and we would run into each other when all the kids in their neighborhood were out roaming . . . wish I'd gotten to know him as an adult.
