I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 20 years! We were married for a LONG time before we decided to have kids and then had 2 amazing little girls back to back in 2011 and 2012. I started working in Property Management while I was in college. What started out as a way to make some extra money while I was in school turned into a 20 year career doing something that I absolutely loved!! I was an actor on the side and stumbled upon an opportunity to audition for a position at a hospital as a therapeutic medical clown. I had acting skills, improv skills and I was really good at being an idiot but I had no idea what it would mean to be a medical clown. But since my first day at the hospital in 2005, I was hooked and the rest is history!! My teachers are not shocked that I’m now a Clown for a living!!! It sounds silly, but spending my days getting to make sick kids and their families forget that they are in the hospital, even if it’s just for a few minutes, is the BEST thing that’s ever happened to me. As of today, I’m raising 2 wonderful little girls after 40 and writing a book about my journey!!! Life is really funny, so why not write it down, print it, put it in book format and sell it so others can laugh too???
