How is it even possible that we are coming up on our 30th reunion? Crazy...I don't feel that old!

Here's my history....After graduation from Parker, I went on to Marquette University where I earned my BS in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in 1994.

I met my husband, Carlos, while at Marquette (he was also an Engineering student), and we married in 1995 at Gesu Church on Marquette's campus. Our wedding was on the same day as Les Aspin's funeral (US Congressman, who was Secretary of Defense under Bill Clinton), which makes for some great stories!

I worked several contract positions for a couple of years after graduating from Marquette, and in 1996, I went to work for Cooper Power Systems in Waukesha, WI as an Applications Engineer. I worked at Cooper for 11 years, and decided in Nov. 2007 to quit and stay home with my kids. Working full time with 4 kids was crazy busy, especially since my husband had taken on a new job a few months earlier, and he was starting to travel more than he ever had. I was home with the kids for almost 12 years, and decided it was time to go back to work full time, especially since our oldest is now in college - talk about expensive! I am now working as an Application Engineer for a large power transformer company called SPX. It's kind of funny how some things are "just like riding a bike" in going back to work.

In 2000, I got involved in direct sales by selling PartyLite Candles and gifts. It was a nice hobby, and gave us some extra spending money. In July 2008, I decided to try my hand at another direct sales company, Tastefully Simple. This time around, my motivation was geared more towards getting me out of the house for some adult interaction! Plus the trips I've earned were a great bonus!

My kids are the apples of my eyes. We had fertility issues, so I feel truly blessed to have each and every one of them! As you can imagine, with 4 teenagers, life is busy, but it is really fun! It truly is amazing how fast they grow up. I can't believe my oldest started college this year (he is following in his parents' footsteps and is attending Marquette University to become a Mechanical Engineer)!

I am having fun reading up on my fellow peers from Parker!
