Tracy Ladd VanDyke

Less than a year after graduation, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She is now 19. Lauren graduated from Mattawan High School May 2007.

The years in between were very eventful. I briefly attended KVCC while being a full time single mom. I was married to Lauren's dad, then divorced! That was not a bad thing! I worked for National City Bank for 9 years as a Facilities Manager. After being downsized from National City, I then became a realtor for Prudential Preferred for about a year. I then obtained a wonderful job at Pfizer as a Building and Grounds Manager for 2 years. Again I was a victim of downsizing. So I went back to school and finally after 19 years I graduated receiving a degree in Business Administration.

I met my husband Dave July 1992 and we married in Jamaica April 1999. Dave went to Gull Lake High School and graduated in 1982. He was a Marine and now works in Marshall.

My husband and I enjoy riding our motorcycles with my parents and uncles. We have taken several trips. Our most recent trip was to the UP for the 4th of July and Cedar Point in August. I dread the winter waiting those long months to ride again! During those months we travel. We have been to Jamaica, Cancun (too many times), Puerto Vallarta, Punta Cana, and the Florida Keys. I am a sun, sand, and ocean kind of girl!

My husband and I are now empty nesters. Which I do have to say is weird seeing that I am not the BIG 40 yet. Kids grow up to quick! But we have 2 dog children and a cat that we adore. I also have a new Grand puppy named Cash. He is my little love puppy.

And of course I still love to party, hang out with friends and have a great time. I miss my high school friends and do not see them. So if you are reading this...lets get together!

Well, when I was there I did not want to be. The funny thing is I loved going to college the last 2 years. The best time I had was being with my friends. My favorite teacher was Mr. Smith.
