Thanks, keep it up. It's tough trying to find everyone, especially when I haven't seen these people in decades. I wish I had been better at keeping in touch.

Hey Yall,
I talked to Ted Gumminger about the reunion...he plans to attend the picnic at Longview Lake on Friday but not sure yet about the formal Reunion at the Marriott ... anyway, he does not have access to a computer so anyone who wants to give Ted a shout out just give me a holler and I will pass the word ....

Hi guys...we are really struggling to get people to sign up on our site. Please let me know if you know the addresses, phone numbers or married names of any of our friends. We really want a good turn-out at the reunion and our first job is to be sure we let everyone know about it.

Also, if you have friends on classmates.com, please encourage them to come to this site and sign up. We are trying to get the message out, but we aren't having a lot of luck.

Thanks!

Steve Cheaque was very healthy and in the prime of his life when he died. He was married to Donna (Potter) for ten or more years, he was an excellent father of two young children, and a great friend. During the prior months before his death, Steve helped three of my premature baby girls by donating blood for their transfusions. Steve worked for the KC Water Dept. and went down into a manhole that didn't have adequate oxygen. It was very tragic and hard to accept.

Janice,
Please look at that email again - you will notice that it was sent by Stuart Clark. Also be aware that only Stuart can send out & compose mass emails from this site. I, as you were was shocked by his message!

Okay Stu! What do you have to say for yourself?

07/29/09 11:56 AM #40

Stuart Clark

Jim is right, I did post his comments sent directly from his e-mail. I can send proof upon request.

However in regards to the Golf Cart Studs, there will be 20 there for everyones viewing pleasure.

And may I add Jim Schultz is in charge of ALL matters regarding the Golf Tournament. Nothing gets done without his approval.

Quick question, Stu. I notice that the home page says Saturday night's event runs 6:00-midnight, but the 30-year Reunion sign-up page says 7:00-midnight. Could you please clarify what time Saturday night's event is? Maybe you could send out a mass e-mail letting people know the correct time. Thanks, Christy

Just a note to all that helped organize the event.

GREAT JOB!

I only made the Saturday event and thought it was fantastic. The hotel was great, the room and its cost were great, the bar was good, the meal was good, the slide show was fun.

Thanks for all the effort, you guys are to be commended.

Thank you!

Thanks to all who helped on the reunion. My wife (Kathy Schmidt - class of 1977) and I had a wonderful time. In particular I wanted to thank Linda Whited (who was my wife in Family Relations/Senior Year) for the time she put in. A great job by all of you (Stu, Linda, Cindy and Val). Way to go!!
I missed a few people at the reunion. As hard as I tried it was difficult to get around to everyone but what a great weekend.
Looking forward to the 35th reunion!

Jon

I had a wonderful time at the reunion. Thanks to everyone who helped get it organized and for all those who came. I thought the cougar bit was hilarious and I appreciate the effort to bring our cougar to the reunion. It added a fun touch. I will be at the 35th and hope we can find more of our classmates to join us. Class of '79 rules!

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures from Friday since I couldn't attend. I had a great time talking to everyone Saturday and realize I should have gotten out more in high school. I hope to see at least some of you before the next reunion. A special thanks to all those who traveled from outside MO & KS!
Call or email if any one is having a get-together. I'll come by if my girls aren't playing volleyball that night. Take care.

Thanks to everyone involved in the planning of the reunion. You did a wonderful job. Food was good both nights, location was great and the cougar was a nice surprise. It was a lot of fun catching up with everyone. Looking forward to the next reunion.

To Stu, Linda, John, and everyone who helped organize the 30th reunion,

Thank you for volunteering your days, evenings, and weekends to organize this very memorable event. As others have indicated, the food and locations were fantastic and very thoughtfully and tastefully selected. It was my first reunion and I am grateful to you for providing the opportunity to visit with old friends.

Many, many thanks,

Jim

Thanks so much to my old classmates that put this event together. I know it must have taken quite a bit of work! It was awesome. It was wonderful to see everybody! I never realized how large our senior class was. Very cool slide shoe, good meal and great hotel. Let me know if you know anybody that lives in or around the Springfield MO area. I did discover that my girlfriend Kim Kirkoff Farris lives in Springfield. The reunion helped me get back in touch with my brother, Gordon Schroeder after about 20 years of losing each other!!! I thought the picnic and barbecue were great...with the exception of DISCO only at the Saturday nite event???? But anyway, my apologies to my classmates for not being able to mingle more but I had lost my voice Friday nite after the picnic and could not talk very much at the reunion Saturday...it was nice seeing everyone tho just wish I could have visited with folks a little more...and I remember seeing the news when the cougar was stolen from the case a few years back lol...
