David Reynolds

I went to Maple Woods for a while, and I met my wife Jamie there. It was there that I first felt my call to ministry as well. I lead worship in the BSU for a couple of years and started attending church with Jamie in Platte City. It was there that I began leading worship for the youth group and now in sunday services as well. I was in a couple of rock bands, one of which actually was offered a record deal, but my bandmates weren't too interested in a christian record deal. Jamie and I were blessed with our sons Jesse in February of 2005, Elijah in March of 2013, as well as our first grandchild, Tyler in February 2024. I have worked for Johnson Controls' Security Division for the last 7 years and am in management there.

Man, there are too many to recall only one. I'd have to say all the memories I made in choir, SRO performances, singing at the RenFest, going to the choir competition in St. Louis, and getting to sing Billy Joel in front of the school. I came to Park hill my sophomore year from a tiny school, in fact, my class was 48 people, so to come here was a big change. But a change for the better none the less. What Park Hill did for me was give me the opportunities to come out of my shell, learn who I really was inside, and tap into my potential. The school was so huge that really for the first time in my life, no one knew anything about me, and with that fresh start, I was able to be the person I had always wanted.
