I moved to Vancouver, WA in 1978 and married my husband, Dave in 1979 who's also my best friend.
Dave is a financial advisor with LPL and I started a wholesale wine distributorship in 1994. We live and work 3 days a week in Vancouver, WA and 4 days at our 20 acre ranch in Crooked River Ranch, Oregon. We live on the canyon rim above the Deschutes River and Steelhead Falls with hiking trails down to the river with great fishing. We love to camp, hike, fish, cook and drink great beer and wine. We hardly ever go anywhere without our two dogs, Alex (golden retriever/black labrador mix) and Rusty (golden retriever).
We have tons of deer, a large cougar, bobcats and a few ferral cats at Crooked River. What a life!
I had breast cancer about 12 years ago and went thru 2 sets of chemotherapy and radiation. I was only expected to live 5 years. I plan to live forever...so far, so good!
