I'm still plugging away at Garrett & Jensen and have a scenic new office in the 1903 home the firm restored last year. As Past President, I'm still on the Board of of Orange County Women Lawyers and am back on the Executive Board of California Women Lawyers after a one year absence (termed out). So with that said, I spend time fundraising and attending legal events. To keep in shape, I do kickboxing (oldest person in a large class) and run short distances. But my favorite activity is being with my 3 grandchildren, who are so much fun. As a veteran Mom of several club soccer teams, traveling softball teams, All Star teams in several sports, National High School Cheerleading championships, gymnastics, etc., I am loving starting in on the entry levels of these sports again as Grandma.
Update: It's now 1/4/10 and I'm now Past President of Orange County Women Lawyers so I should have more time to do my actual job. I also have a darling new granddaughter...more fun to look forward to on the Grandma front.
