I took a year off to work and made what seemed like a fortune at the time to an 18 year old. I bought my little blue MGB convertible and headed to SDSU where I earned a bachelor's degree, met my husband Chris and had the time of my life. We lived and worked in San Diego for years. After Chris graduated from law school, we moved to back to Belvedere.
I've worked in retail, electronics and newspaper publishing before our miracle baby Lauren arrived. Then, Chris decided to leave the practice of law for a while and return to active-duty Navy which took us to Jubail, Saudi Arabia; Newport, RI; Tampa, FL and now Washington, DC.
I'm a stay-at-home mom to Lauren, now 12, the most precious young lady anyone could ever ask for. I'm active at her school and the Girl Scout leader for her Cadette troop. I'm a "blanketeer" for Project Linus. I create handknit blankets for kids at risk. It combines my love of knitting and need to help kids. Chris and I have been married for 23 years and being Lauren's mom is the best job I've ever had. Life is good!
