Terry Scarborough Ramey

I got married after graduation from Burns High School. Married Gary Ramey of Polkville (the boy next door). Gary joined the Army and we landed at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. In 1984 Gary died in a motorcycle accident. I felt like I had to stay in Maryland because if I moved back I would never have a real life. In 1985 I moved my mother and sister to Maryland with me. My mother still lives with me. I met Dave in 1991 and we had our first date on New Year's Eve of that year. We have been together ever since. He is a great guy. Just like one of the real down home country boys from the south. He gave me a diamond after we were together for ten years and maybe I might marry him one day. Who knows!

In 1979 my parents separated and we moved to Polkville. That was one of the hardest things that I ever had to do. Leaving all my friends from Kings Mountain and starting over was not fun when you are starting into the 11th grade. I tried to keep in touch but you know how things go. It was great to see everyone on facebook. Just like ole times. Thanks for welcoming me back into the class.
