After graduation I worked with Green's TV for about 2 years then I got a job with the City of Kinston, I was promoted to Utility superintendent and remained in that job until I went to work for Sylvana in Smithfield. We lived in Pine Level for 24 years then moved to Clayton when I went to work for Data General. When Data General closed I retired for 2 years and spent that time writing two golf course directors, one for the Triangle area and the other for the Triad area. In those two years I played almost 300 golf courses. I finally accepted a job with Penn Compression Moulding in Smithfield as Quality Manager. I retired from Penn after 12 years. I still do part time work for Penn as their IT manager maintain there computers. My current hobbies are astronomy, photograph, music and computers.

My Son Robert, married Debra Crumpler from also Micro. They have two boys, Tyler who is a senior in high school and Wesley a Freshman in high school. They live in Cary, NC
My Wife Teresa is retired from Social Security after 30 years and her hobby is the grandchildren and traveling.
We are living in Clayton for almost 24 years about the same time we lived in Pine Level. So our house is up for sale....24 years time to move again.
Teresa and I both still have relatives in Kinston. Teresa has her brother Mike and his wife Marie. I have two brothers there, Jerry (retired from Dupont) his wife Edna (they now live in Trenton) and Winfred (retired from GTE) and his wife also Edna.
We still visit Kinston about a week and the town has not changed much except for the business that have gone from downtown like Sears, Post office, Standard drugs (favorite place for malts), Brodys and few others. On the other hand Clayton has boomed since we move here. We still do most everything in Raleigh, eat movies, and shop.
