After graduating from UNC Greensboro, I headed to Washington, DC for my first real job at Harris Research Labs. It was there that I met my husband, John Mutchler a chemist. We were married in Kinston and moved to Wilmington, Delaware (also the place I was born). Our two children were born in Wilmington and I became a stay-at-home Mom. In 1981 John's work took us to Chatham, NJ. Chatham is a beautiful town and our friends often said that the town was frozen in 1954. I worked at a local florist and Drew University while in NJ. John and I divorced in 1994. I wondered if North Carolina was really God's Country so I moved back. I have been in Wilson for 15 years and am hoping to retire early 2010. Jobs in Wilson include Barton College, Inner Banks Market and Wilson County Library. My daughter and son-in-law Dan live in Arlington, VA with my two very smart grandchildren. My son lives in New Jersey and is a struggling musician. He has played drums in many local bands and was drummer for a band called The Samples. North Carolina really is God's Country! Can't wait to see everyone in April
