Barclays Bank Krugersdorp ( to get paid while in the 9-month army stint !) - 3 yrs.
Costing Clerk for Premier Metal co. Denver Jhb ( dealing in earthmoving equipment( 5 years)
Hoechst South Africa (Pty) Ltd in various Sales/Order/Stock administration ( 28 years)
Retrenced in 2001 after Hoechst sold out world-wide.


Part-time since 1976, but full-time since 2001 till now, continue singing and playing music (keyboards) as a 1-man Band at weddings/corporate functions/birthdays etc.
Never married ( mainly due to music commitments), but a few ladies along the way.

Attended a 30 year reunion of the class of 63 at the school in 1993, organized by Dianne Sneag, younger sister of Brian.

Attended a luncheon at KHOSA in June 2011 with about 20 "Old Boys" - planning to become a bi-monthly event.

Carry on with my music and live life to the full, by keeping fit (dancing) and staying young!
Touring South Africa on my 1300cc Yamaha Cruiser motorcycle.
Always wanted to go to Daytona week motorcycle races in Florida USA.

Always be thankful for what and who you have and when bad things happen in your life, think of how worse it could have been - and you'll feel a bit more positive.

My elder brother gave me a set of drum sticks (from KHS cadet band!) when I was 8 years old and showed me how to hold them. That got me hooked on music forever - that and Elvis Presley.
