I didn't know that Scott had passed.  Here is a link to a short obituary in Santa Barbara. 

I remember Scott as a quite guy.  I know that he sat in front of me in Mrs. Woods class because I remember picking my nose and flinging the contents.  Unfortuantely, it landed on Scott's math paper.  I remember that he didn't get mad, just turned around and displayed my art work to me.
