After graduation from LHS, I attended the US Military Academy, graduating in 1990 as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace.) I served at Ft. Sill, OK, Nuremberg, Germany and Ft. Stewart, Ga before leaving active duty in 1997. I remained in the National Guard, deploying to Afghanistan in 2009-2010. Upon returning, I retired from military service in 2010 having served 20 years.
After leaving active service in 1997, I went to work for GE Capital Railcar in Sayre, PA. After a year plus, I got the opportunity to come home, transferring to GE Appliances in 1998. I've been with the company in LaFayette ever since.
My son was born at Ft. Stewart, Ga, and my daughter was born in Sayre, PA.
I married my wonderful wife, Jenny, in 2014. Yep, she's one of those Gordon Lee Trojans I've allowed to infiltrate LaFayette. We're empty nesters except for our two fur babies - Hoover and Sally. We love serving Jesus, and are active with the children's ministry at our church. Jenny also serves as a member of a team that goes to the Walker County Jail each week to teach Jesus to incarcerated women. I recently returned from a mission trip to the beautiful country of Albanian, located in the Balkan region of Europe north of Greece.
