Dan's sister Crista posted the following on Twitter. I had heard rumors about his death, but her post confirms it. I would like to know the how/why as well.

Thanks John, I appreciate reading this. I remember his sister well, and I was also close to Bob, but that was over 40 years ago. I think if we could find Bob or Ken that we could find out what happened. Any ideas how to do that? Do you still live in the area? I am in New Mexico! Nancy
