Dear Classmates,

I have to come to the realization that I will not be able to make it to the reunion. My oldest son just received his first foster child, a 2 1/2 year old boy, who he will have with him long term. This is my first grandbaby of any way, shape or form, so I want to go out and visit him in Kansas. I can't swing two trips financially and family comes first.

There are so many of you I would like to reconnect with and I am beyond sad that I cannot attend. Please find me on Facebook and "friend" me, I would love to know how you all are doing.

Anyway, have fun and please have a few cocktails for me!

Our youngest son is coming to visit from South Carolina the first week of August so unfortunately, I will not be attending the reunion but will enjoy his visit tremendously. I retired six years ago from Darden Corporate Communications. I spend my time at the gym, volunteer at a local food pantry, fun adventures with my grandchildren, and enjoy time in the art studio my husband built for me on our property over-looking the lake. This is where the magic happens! Best to all. I hope there will be pictures to share. And a big thank you to the reunion committee for all the work they have done to make this a great event!
