After receiving my teaching degree, teaching a few years and discovering it was not for me,I quit and am taking classes hoping to find my calling. I am interested in writing and illustrating children's books, so who knows what the future will bring.

A strange story I have never forgotten involves the time in the middle of class when I pulled out a "lump" of material that seemed to have gotten rolled up in a pair of my "in style" Forenza yellow wide elastic waisted pant's leg. (if you recall the style of pants you remember they had a lot of material)To my embarassment, and the classes amusement, the lump I pulled out and held up for all to see was a pair of my underwear that had gotten tangled with the pant leg in the dryer. I also have many wonderful memories of Kelly Harrison during my freshman and sophmore year and Tanya Rouse my Senior year. Tanya and I used to do the corniest things, like drive around with the top down on my convertible with shaving cream all over our faces. Kelly and I would go to NSB every weekend to stay in my family condo. We would hang out on 27th avenue eating candy from the 7-11 and get chased by the garbage men.(You had to be there)Oh, and who could forget my turbulant romance with Javier Pena? We are still good friends, believe it or not, though he went and got married without telling me, the bum!
