After leaving LHS, I went on to become a Gator at UF, graduating in 1984 with a BS in Computer and Information Science.

After working for HP as a field sales engineer for seven years in Jacksonville, getting married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and having two children, we took off to Europe.

Amy and I worked for a Christian organization called Mission Possible Foundation, which was helping pastors and street orphans in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. We lived close to Helsinki, Finland, for about 3 1/2 years, where we had our third child, Mark. I even learned a little Russian and Finnish. Yo da!

We moved back to the States to work in MP's headquarters office, but after another 1 1/2 years, I transitioned back into IT sales.

Many of you may remember my very cool white Vega with the white vinyl interior. Well, one night after orchestra practice, the White Knight (me) offered a ride home to two beautiful orchestra babes. They got in, I cranked up the 4-cylinder aluminum block engine, threw it into gear, and proceeded to rip out the oil pan and tear up the transmission.

Turns out that I parked on top of a boiler nozzle that was sticking out of the ground but hidden in the grass. With the extra weight of the girls, it was enough to put the bottom of my low-slung car within striking distance. With the car undriveable, my mom had to come and pick us all up. Needless to say, it didn't do great things for my already somewhat lackluster reputation with the babes.
