Sharon E. Byington, age 71, passed away October 29, 2010 in Lansing, MI. She was born July 9, 1939 in Lansing, MI, daughter to the late Lawrence and Leona (Matelske) Strauser. Sharon was an animal lover of all kinds; a strong supporter of the Capital Area Humane Society and generous with many other charities. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Douglas, son Randy D. (Anita) of Grand Ledge, daughter Lori A. (Mark) Johnson of Austin, TX; grandchildren Alexis Byington and Liam Scott, and
brother Laurence F. Strauser. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 88“ 11:00 A.M. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with Rev. Troy Shaw officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
