Born July 23, 1938, in Lansing, died November 18, 1996 at the age of 58.

Mr. Hosford formerly worked for Diamond Reo Motors. He was a member of Local 650. He was a Ham Radio Operator (K8AJC). He was a life member of ARRL and a member of QCWA.

Lester was preceded in death by his mother, Emeline M. (1991) and his father Norman E. (1996). Surviving are his wife Barbara, three sons, John and Donald Hosford both of Eagle, and Jeff Hosford of Lyons; one grandson, Timothy; one brother Gerald (Mary Lee) Hosford of Ionia; and an extended family.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 21, 12 noon, at St, Michael's Catholic Church, 345 Edwards, Grand Ledge with Rev. Robert H. McGraw, Pastor officiating. The Rite of Committal will be held in Chapel; Hill Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the Gorsline Runciman Co. Lansing Chapel, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing, beginning Wednesday, 4 p.m., where the family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. The Vigil Service will be celebrated Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.
