Robert R. Farlin 1939 - 2018

LANSING - Age 79, passed away July 16, 2018.

Robert was born March 2, 1939, in Lansing, to Glenn and Naomia (Dunn) Farlin.

Robert graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1957, then joined the U.S. Air Force.

After the military, he became employed for Oldsmobile, retiring from GM after 31 years. Robert was an avid bowler and golfer, and played fast pitch softball for several years.

Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Joann; 3 sons, Ronald, Rick, and Randy (Kim) Farlin; 3 granddaughters, Ava, Ella, and Hannah; brothers, Richard and Michael Farlin; and sister, Patricia Norris.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Monday.
