Grand Ledge - Lloyd L. Hoffner Jr. of Grand Ledge passed away September 25, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 27, 1939 in Cairo, Illinois to the late Lloyd L. and Martha L. (Wood) Hoffner Sr. Lloyd was a proud family man and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty L. (Pullman); sons, Michael L. (Beth) and Jeffrey S. Hoffner; sister, Patricia A. (John) Gray; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Lloyd was preceded in death by daughter, Kelli J. Cardwell; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann M. (Bertolucci) Hoffner and grandson, Chad L. Cardwell. Lloyd's family was his pride and joy. He enjoyed traveling, camping and recreational sports with his family and friends. He worked in the automotive industry for 42 years, retiring in 2005. He was honored by Volkswagen and Mercedes with several distinguished awards for his excellence in leadership and administrative skills. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018, 12:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Grand Ledge with Pastor Chuck Foerster, officiating. Visitation will be at the church Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
