In Memory

(June) Harold T. Rubino

Harold Thomas Rubino

Harold Thomas Rubino “Tom” born December 7, 1938 passed away peacefully at his home February 1, 2021 at the age of 82. Tom was preceded in passing by his parents Frank and Grace Rubino, brother’s Frank Jr., and Joseph. He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 62 years, Margaret “Sue”; 3 loving children: Thomas Rubino , Deborah Fox both from Delta Township and Bonnie (Michael) Baker from Glendale, Arizona; 8 grandchildren: Nicole (Steve) Teno, Dan Fox, Andrea (Corey) Moyer, Corey Rubino, Kevin Rubino, Jessica (Michael) Wald, Sydnee Baker, and Mackenzie Baker; 2 great grandchildren, Everly and Easton Teno; sister and sister in-laws; nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Tom loved working with his hands. You could say he was a Jack-of-all-trades. He built many of their homes and remodeled many more. On the weekends he loved spending time at his home on Long Lake. He also built trailers, painted cars and did anything to keep busy. Tom was the first one there to lend a hand for family and friends whenever needed. He retired after 37 years as a Journeyman Welder from Industrial Metal Products Corporation (IMPCO) in 2001. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and watching them grow into young adults. He got a kick going to auctions looking for deals and purchasing cars for family members. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his kids and his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

No services will be held at this time. A small service will be held for family and close friends at a later date due the Covid-19 issues. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, 30400 Telegraph Rd #150, Bingham Farms, MI, 48025. The family has entrusted arrangements to Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Online condolences may be shared at www.petersandmurrayfuneralhome.com
