What's up, how is everyone doing? I've been wondering if we were going to get organized and celebrate our 10 year reunion and thankfully someone took the initiative. I regret not being able to participate more but duty calls. I will tell you though, I am stoked about this and can't freaking wait. Don't be a stranger and check out myspace and or facebook sites and I'll add you as a friend. Well a little about me...I signed up for the Marine Corps during the summer right before our senior year. I left for boot camp a week after graduation and was thinking what the hell did you get yourself into. I went to MCRD San Diego, CA and Camp Pendleton, CA for basic training. I was then stationed at MCAS New River, NC for about 3 years. I reenlisted out there and then transferred to I-I Staff Lubbock, TX. Lubbock was pretty fun. I met and partied there with a lot of interesting people and wouldn't mind going back. I reenlisted again, left Lubbock in 06 and got stationed at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The thing that sucks is that its way the f$#& out in NC which is between a 24 to 30 hour drive to Laredo depending on how fast you drive. I'm still stationed out of Cherry Point but signed up for an individual augmentee billet and ended up in Afghanistan with a joint command working with all the other services, law enforcement agencies, and foreign militaries. I am scheduled to be back Stateside in October ready to get seriously drunk since by the time I return it will have been over six months since I've seen a beer let alone drank one. I cannot complain though, the Marine Corps has been good to me and my family. It has been an awesome experience and apparently I'm doing something right because I'm already a Staff Sergeant. If you're ever in my part of the woods, let me know and you have a place to stay any time. I have grown fond of partying and I guess I really don't want to grow up. I'm still 18 at heart and I tell you what, I can't wait until this reunion so that I can party with some old friends.
