Teresa (Terri) Garcia Marquez

Well after reading some comments I decided I would share mine. After graduation, I got married and moved to Clovis, NM. Divorced soon after and moved back home. Decided I was having tooooo much fun in LC and school wasn't going anywhere. I moved to Arizona and continued my college career at Eastern Arizona College while working as a correctional officer for ASPC. I met a great man during this time that I knew I could not live without. I graduated with an AA degree in 1995 and then got married. I continued at WNMU and graduated in 1997 with a BS in Criminal Justice. I moved back to Las Cruces and we had our first and only child in 1999. Did some different career moves until I decided to get my teaching certification at UTEP. I started working for GISD as a special education teacher and have been there ever since. I got my master's degree in Educational Administration in 2005 from NMSU. Haven't pursued that venture until I grow up though. Anyways, just keeping really busy with my work, my family, and my sanity.

My greatest memories from high school were the trips to Juarez. It was a weekly trip and sometimes even several trips were taken in a week. Slammers by the dozen at Hard Rock, Coronitas by the bucket at The Cave, and Dominoes Pizza in the parking lot before we came home. We would drive over with 6 and come back with 10 people. How and why-I can't remember but I know I had fun.
