I have been living in Southern Utah since 1991. I started my own small business in 1991 in the construction trade. I am still currently running the same business along with another. During the day I teach 3rd grade at La Verkin Elementary, then I run my two businesses after hours. At night I teach Master's courses for the University of Phoenix, and I have one year left to receive my Doctorate degree from the University of Phoenix. After I receive my Doctorate degree I plan on scaling back to just teaching in the daytime; I cannot wait for that day!

One day when I was pulling out of the parking lot I ran into the back of Mike Cruise's car (to date this is my only car accident). When Mike got out of his car and looked at the damage he told me the car was a piece of crap and it actually did the car some good to have more dents in it. Way to go Mike; you gave me a positive perspective on how to take challenges.
