After high school I decided I wanted a change of pace and accepted the chance to move to St. Paul, MN in order to attend Concordia University and play basketball. In college I met my wife Lisa - a native Minnesotan with the accent to prove it! I graduated from CU in 2003 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and we stayed in the Twin Cities until 2006. During that time I worked as an editor a legal publishing company as well started to become active in local women’s/LGBT rights groups - volunteer/activist work I continue to this day. In June 2006 we packed up our cars and our pug MJ and relocated to San Diego (What can I say, I'm a West Coast grrl at heart!) We love being closer to my family in Vegas, enjoying all sunny SoCal has to offer (amazing outdoor activities like surfing & golfing, the awesome friends we have made, and the kick-ass Mexican food!) and the fact that we can be legally married (we tied the knot on 6/20/08 and celebrated our one-year anniversary with a wedding for family/friends on 6/20/09).

We bought a condo in 2007 and I’m currently an Associate at a public relations firm that specializes in online risk management. I just finished my first semester of San Diego State University’s Communication Studies Masters Program.

My life is busy but I wouldn’t change it for the world! I can't wait to catch up with everyone at the reunion :)
