School Story:
Senior year a few friends and I went to College Variety store on East ave. As they went in to check their lottery tickets with the winning numbers...I had a better idea, BUY A TICKET WITH THAT WEEKS ALREADY DRAWN WINNING NUMBERS. So I did. We left the store and I told everyone what I did and to just play along. So off to Cumberland Farms we went! When we were all at the cash...I asked the cashier if the winning numbers had been drawn yet and she said yes and pointed to a sign with the winning numbers on it. While everyone was checking their tickets...I looked at the cashier and with a serious face said "IT CAN'T BE...THERE MUST BE SOME KIND OF MISTAKE,...ARE YOU SURE THOSE ARE THE RIGHT NUMBERS"...she then asked why and I told her its because those are the numbers on my ticket. AT that moment she looked at me and said "YOU BETTER NOT BE PLAYING AROUND-YOU COULD GET IN A LOT OF TROUBLE PLAYING AROUND LIKE THIS...I immediately said NO and handed her the ticket (knowing she wouldn't look at the date of the ticket...just the numbers) After looking at the ticket...She started yelling at the top of her lungs to everyone in the store "WE'VE GOT A WINNER!...WE'VE GOT A WINNER!...She grabbed my face in her hands and immediately told me to take the ticket and go home young man...go straight home! Well I didnt, Instead we went to one of our friends houses who worked 3rd shift and woke him just to say hello and YES prank him too! This friend was the ultimate candidate because he was the only one in the group of us that religiously bought a lottery ticket every week. Hoping that someday he would strike it rich! Well for and hour or so, he got his wish through me. When he let us in the house I immediately asked him if he checked the lotto numbers and he said "No stupid, I just woke up!"...So I asked how we could get the numbers and he said..."SIMPLE...I'LL JUST CALL THE BIG APPLE AND GET THEM"...I then said..."PRETTY SMART OF YOU TO THINK OF THAT..HERE IS MY TICKET...I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM". So now he had my ticket in his hand and called for the numbers...In a matter of seconds I hear him ask the Big Apple employee if they can repeat the numbers...LOL! Lets just say he strated yelling at the top of his lungs saying..."TODD, YOU WON, YOU WON MAN, YOU WON!!! He actually called in sick at work and spent the next hour or so
dreaming with all of us as I was telling HIM and the rest of the guys what I was going to buy for them. LOL This went on for an hour or so then feeling aweful because we let him call in sick, I let him in on the joke...LOL...Lets just say he was angry with me for a very long time!!!...OK...Last, the night was ending and I get dropped off at home. I couldn't let it end at the last 2 pranks so on my Dads desk was where he always kept his lottery ticket for the week...so I switched it with mine and then went to bed ONLY to be woken from a sound sleep at 6am from a grown man screaming "I JUST WON THE MEGABUCKS...I JUST WON THE MEGABUCKS"...after a while of hearing his excitement...I felt like the biggest ass when I finally told him it was my ticket and to read the date. After he finaly realized what I had done, It took a week for him to look at me without having that KILL look in his eyes...LOL. We all laugh about it now and believe it to be the best pranks ever pulled...Absolutely Priceless!!! THE END
