Sister Marie Therese was on the faculty at Stella from 1960-1964, and had the rare privilege of working with our class all four years!
She obtained her BA in Mathematics from Rosary Hill College and an MA in Mathematics from the University of Detroit. She holds an MS in Computer Science and a PhD in mathematics from State University of New York at Buffalo.
After teaching at Stella, Sister Vicky (she uses her birth name now) taught high school at Sacred Heart Academy and St. Frances DeSales in Columbus, Ohio. She also taught at Rosary Hill College and Canisius College in Buffalo.
For several years following her retirement to Stella Niagara in 1987, Sr. Vicky tutored and worked with refugees who came to Stella Niagara on their way to Canada. It was through this work that she established many lifelong friendships.
She enjoyed watching movies and spending time visiting with her many friends.
She had a great love for the Native American culture and history.
