Welcome to our official website of

LHS - Class of 1977 Grads

Hello, and welcome fellow classmates! This is our official website of our Class of 1977 alumni from Lewisville High School in Lewisville, Texas.  Here you can find contact details on any fellow classmate, both living or deceased, and catch up on their whereabouts.    We will make announcements and list Reunion information both here and on our Facebook group page.  Look for "LHS - Class of 1977 Grads" in Facebook's search window.

Upon joining the site, you can control, create and maintain your own information in your profile.  Only Classmates who attended and/or graduated LHS in our 1977 class year will be approved to join.  To update your information, locate your name in the "Classmates Profiles" tab located on the left-hand side menu of the screen and the site will walk you through to create or update your profile.  If you can not see someone's information, they do have the right to restrict it's access from your view.  Please visit the website atleast every six months to refresh your information or review any page updates.  The site will send you reminders in your email or text alerts to your phones as you set in the preferences settings.

Since graduating LHS in 1977, we have had only three scheduled class reunions.  The first reunion (1) was our 10th class reunion.  It was held at The DFW Hilton in Grapevine, TX in June of 1987.  We had a Friday night "Meet & Greet",  Sat afternoon picnic, and a Saturday night program with buffet included in the ticket price.  The second (2) reunion was our 35th class reunion held on Sat, October 13th, 2012 at Celebrations Event Center (now renamed HIDDEN PINES) located in Highland Village, Tx.  The theme was "Denim & Diamonds".  There were approximately 137 in attendance including classmates, spouses and other LHS grads of other years.   The third (3) was our "40th Class Reunion"  held Sat, October 21st, 2017 at Fresco's Mexicana Resturant located on  FM407/Justin Rd in Highland Village, TX.  Our theme was "Thru The Decades".  The dress for the event was relaxed and check-in was at 6pm.  Originally we were to be out in the private patio but rain was in the forecast.  We were brought inside for safety reasons.  We ate, visited and held an evening auction.  We had about 88 people in attendance.  Our auction generated about $1,500 extra dollars after expenses which enabled us to sponsor three donations:  1) Donate a Farmer T-Shirt Quilt (valued at $300) to The Lewisville Historical Society on behalf of our 1977 Class; 2) Build our reunion fund, and 3) Sent $500 to a fellow classmate who lost their RV shelter and belongings in Rockport during Hurricane Harvey hitting the Gulf Coast on Aug 25th of 2017 a few days prior to our event.

Our next designated reunion will be 45th Class Reunion year is 2022.  We will start planning for that event soon so if you wish to be part of the committee, please, please speak up and get your name on our list.  We certainly need helpers with all items on the agenda.

Check out our facebook group page for announcements for obituaries, announcements and communications on a regular basis.  If you do not have facebook, then check back here for the important information or communications about what's going on with our class events or issues.  The link for our facebook page is:   https://www.facebook.com/groups/lhs - Class of 1977 Grads .

Be sure to review our LHS Memory Coins on the tab in our menu list.  They were first created in time for our 35th Class Reunion in 2012.  They evolved into making coins for any occasions.  The sale of each coin helps to fund our reunions.  These make great Christmas gifts as stocking stuffers. See the Fundraising Store tab on the left-handed menu.  There are two coin versions:

  •         LHS Graduate Memory Coin with BIG JOHN (70s) logo.
  •         LHS Graduate Memory Coin with FARMER JOHN (80s) logo.

You can purchase these coins by sending an email request to lisa.thomas@bronzstar.com and she will provide information on how to obtain one. They are $20 ea ($25 with postage).  We still have coins in stock for purchase.  GO FARMERS!!!
