Since graduating LHS in 1977, we have had only three class reunions that I am aware of. The first class reunion was our 10th. It was held at The DFW Hilton in Grapevine, TX in June of 1987. We had a Friday night "meet & greet", a Saturday afternoon picnic, and Saturday night program at DFW Hilton with a full food buffet. The second class reunion was our 35th reunion held on Saturday, October 13th, 2012 at Celebrations Event Center (now known as Hidden Pines) located in Highland Village, Tx. Our theme was "Denim & Diamonds". There were approximately 137 in attendance which included classmates, spouses or significant others and other LHS grads of other years.
Our third and last reunion was our "40th Class Reunion" held on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at Fresco's Mexicana resturant on Justin Rd (FM407) in Highland Village, TX. Our theme was "Thru The Decades". The dress for the event was casual or relaxed dress and started gathering at 6pm. Originally we were to be out in the private patio but rain was in the forecast and we were brought inside for our safety. We ate, visited and held a class auction. We had about 80 people in attendance. Our auction raised about $1,500 extra dollars and enabled us to sponsor three areas for donations: 1) Donated a Farmer T-Shirt Quilt (valued at $300) to The Lewisville Historical Society, 2) Created our reunion fund, and 3) Sent $500 to a fellow classmate, Robert Ashford, who lost his shelter and belongings in Rockport during Hurricane Harvey hitting the Gulf Coast on Aug 25th, 2017.
If you wish to be part of the reunion planning committee, please speak up and let one of the committee members know. The more the merrier! There is always something to do for everyone.

We still have LHS Memory Coins for sale! They were first created in time for our 35th Class Reunion in 2012. The sale of each coin helps to fund our reunions. These make great Christmas gifts as stocking stuffers. See the Fundraising Store tab on the left-handed menu. There are two coin versions:
- LHS Graduate Memory Coin with BIG JOHN (70s) logo.
- LHS Graduate Memory Coin with FARMER JOHN (80s and present) logo.
You can purchase these coins by sending an email request me at lisa.thomas@bronzstar.com and I will provide information on how to obtain one. They are $20 ea for pickup, and $25 if mailed.
