Comments:

Went to Clarke College in Newton, MS and Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. Majored in music. Minored in Geography.

Worked a lot of different kinds of jobs including band director at MA; DJ at WIN98, WMBV, and the FM station in Demopolis; professional seamstress; Christmas tree sales; residential care for developmentally disabled adults; private music teacher; and some other jobs.

Moved to St. Louis to attend Covenant Seminary. Graduated from seminary in 1998 and got married a few months later. My husband, Gary, is from the upper midwest (Nebraska, South Dakota)and is a professional cellist.

Did back office work for my mom during tax season since 1990. Became a preparer and started working for H&R Block in St. Louis in 2006. Also worked as a trainer for H&R Block.

Most of my time now is spent homeschooling my son, being a musician and teacher at church, urban homesteading and following my creative pursuits.

School Story:

Actually the story I recall is during the 6th grade play at Linden Elementary. Shari was the teacher and Brent was a student who saw something in his desk and fainted. He was so funny. I remember him just dropping to the floor of that stage with a loud thump and we couldn't stop laughing. I also have a vivid picture of John Crawford as the bride in the womanless wedding. I think they could give Greg a run for his money as class clown.
