I returned from the mission and began dating my high school sweetheart; we got engaged and then married in Dec 1984. I attended USU and earned a degree in Industrial Teacher Education in the Spring of 1989. I also joined the ROTC program at USU and got commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the UT National Guard in Dec 1987. I attended Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course in Ft Huachuca, AZ where I competed for and earned a slot on Military Active Duty. I have been assigned to Ft Campbell, KY, Kitzingen, Germany, Miami, FL, Ft Bragg, NC, Camp Smith, HI, and finally Ft Sam Houston, TX. During my military career, I have deployed to Saudi Arabia/Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and the Philippines. I have served in callings in just about every organization of the Church at the Ward level, but have spent most of my time in the Young Men's organization.

My oldest daughter, Rebecca, left home at age 18 to attend Beauty School and returned to live with when we moved to TX. She is currently working and saving money to return to school.

My son, Marc, attended BYU on an academic scholarship and is currently serving in the Guatemala North Mission. He plans to return to BYU and pursue an Engineering Degree.

My youngest Daughter, Rachel, is currently attending high school and participates in both club and high school swimming teams.

My wife, Nancy, was a stay-at-home mom until the kids were old enough that she could return to school. She completed a dental hygiene program and now works part-time as a hygienist.
