I lived in Arkansas until my husband passed away in 1996, then moved to Oklahoma to get away from the memories and heal, and now I live in Texas. I really love it here! My children live here in Austin as well. My oldest is a Restaurant Manager, my younger daughter is a stay-at-home Mom as well as a photographer, and my son is a Hair Stylist. I am blessed to have a wonderful son-in-law that is in the Army protecting our freedom! I have two beautiful granddaughters that are the joy of my life!! I thought I enjoyed my children, but being a "Mimi" is awesome! I taught school for many years and then in 2010, I retired. I am a Dispatcher for the largest towing company in Austin, as well as own my own business doing machine embroidery. Life is good!!

I remember the afternoon that Mills decided to fly over our football field with the great idea of dropping marshmallows all over the field and the wind made them all land in the Safeway parking lot! That was hilarious!! My best friend was on that plane that day...yes, he went to the rival school!
