School Story:
Left McClellan in 87 when my parents moved to Otter Creek. Hated Fair High School so I went to Heritage Christian High School my senior year. I went to UALR the fall of 88 for one semester and decided that I needed a change. Joined the US Army in 89 and grew up. I then went back to school at Arkansas.
After college I became a Police Officer. Something I thought I would never do as a teenager. I spent 15 years as a Police Officer and took an early retirement from UAMS Police in Jan 2006 where I was the Captain. Jan of 06 Union Pacific Railroad came calling and I am a Conductor with them now. Hope to be an Engineer soon. (My mother still wants me to go to law school.) People tell me that they would have never thought I would be working on the Railroad. I didn't either but it is a fun job.
Everyone when the railroad gates go down, don't try to outrun a train. I promise you will lose. Seen too many people die in less than 4 years on the Railroad.
