Missy Garrett Garino

Right after school I trained to become a ballroom dancer. I have always loved to dance so this was an exciting time in my life. For 10 years I taught, traveled, performed and competed (except for a little break to attend UALR). Then in '99, I married my sweet husband and we now have 3 children. We had our twin girls in 2002, then just 17 months later we welcomed our son...it's been busy to say the least!

We live in Austin now and are active in our church. I have been learning sign language and I sign the songs in our church service to the deaf congregation...I really like it..it's so expressive! I've also been coaching 1st-2nd grade girls basketball every season the last couple of years for Upward.
