School Story:
I know that I was a jock/hood. I will say that football did serve as a positive influence in my life. I can still remember Coach Williams from Mabelvale JR. High saying “dam it the hell Ellis”. I remember in the eleventh grade while playing football for McClellan, we had a chance to make it to the play offs for the first time in about ten years and lost in overtime to Mills. I was seldom ever hurt during football games or practice, but I did rupture a disk in my back that kept me from playing football my senior year. That really sucked! I wonder if Tim Bradley remembers the paddle that we got from Coach Picket at Mabelvale. That was the closet I ever came to crying in front of a coach. There are other things that I did during high school that I cannot comment on!
