School Story:
My school story is being blessed to take my trip to Europe in 78 with sixteen classmates. We went to France, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland. It was an eye opening experience and gave me a real insight to other cultures that I carry with me to this day....The teachers that went with us were, Nancy Crary Jones,(who I have bumped into once in a while) and Jerry Plauche'. I have stood just feet from some of the greatest artwork ever. Stood on famous landmarks, and seen some of the most beautiful scenery. And met some of the best people while I was there in the short two weeks of our trip. Had to Add......Of all the things I did in Europe, and all the places we went (Lucerne, Cologne, Brussels, Heidelberg, Paris....etc...) the best memory I have is, on the first day there, I met a very sweet girl, Lori from Cloverdale, Indiana, and about the third day there, everyone went to Versailles, France, we stayed in Paris, and got a bottle of very fine French Wine, wandered on the streets of Paris drinking our wine out of the bottle and emersing ourselves in the local scene. After a while, and another bottle later, we realized....Hey, we're lost....well we kept wandering around, and finally found a policeman who spoke English enough to get us back to "The Grande Hotel", where we were staying. What a great way to spend an evening, and I would not trade that nite for just about anything else I have experienceed in my great 48 years of life.....
