Qiana Walton

She was born May, 1 1981, in Euclid and had resided in Lorain since the age of nine.

She attended Lorain City School and graduated in 1999 from Admiral King High School where she served as a commanding office over the cadets in the scoohl's Navy Junior ROTC program.

She worked as a clerk as Gas USA in Elyria, where she had been employed for about nine months. She was also attending Lorain County Community College in Elyria.

She loved to help others and loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed music, writing, and shopping.

Qiana will be sadly missed by her parents, Robert L. and Janata F. (nee Johnson) Walton Jr. of Lorain; four brothers Robert L. Walton III of Lorain, Derell, Dion and Damon Walton, all of Cleveland; a sister, Tracey mason of Cleveland; maternal grandmother, Jeannine Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and toher loving relatives and friends.

she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert L. Walton Sr. and Geraldine Walton; and maternal grandfather, John Sherrod.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon at Faith Ministries Christian Center, 1306 Euclid Ave., where Pastors Alvin and Diana Lindsey are co-pastors. Services will be officiated by Elder Gregory Pratt of Emanuel Apostolic Church of Cleveland.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Qiana Walton Fund at any area Lorain National Bank.

You were my friend since elementary school, way back in the day. I remember the pancake breakfasts with our parents for ROTC. You really were a sweet girl. You'll be missed.
