TACKETT, ROBERT C. "BOB," 51, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011.

He was an Assistant Chief Electrical Inspector for the Louisville Metro IPL. Bob was an active member of the Louisville Scuba Divers, as well as the Spencer Co Fish & Game Club, IAEI, ECHL, and AFSCME #2629. He also participated in two Extreme Makeover Homes and past Dream Factory events.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 11 years, Julia A Tackett (Vinnedge); parents, Bobby G. Tackett and Jane Clark Tackett; brothers, Stephen P Tackett (Angi) and Joel t. Tackett; as well as a nephew, niece, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held noon on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. His visitation will be 3 - 8 p.m. Friday night and 11 a.m. - noon on Saturday. On Friday night, there will be a sharing of memories at 7 p.m.
