Tried to retire after teaching, moved to Florida and found my dream job working with foster youth, school districts, post secondary institutions, other like-minded people and legislators. Now working to effect change!
I've never really stopped being in school. After graduating high school there was college, then jobs teaching high school and more college, etc. Still involved teaching. Last year my best friend Bob Wall lost his battle with brain cancer. I got the old group together one last time and we had a mini reunion. We laughed and cried and wondered how none of us ever got arrested and lived through some stupid teenage stuff! May Gid bless all. Live. Love. Laugh and give thanks.
Retiring to Florida was a big life change since two kids and grandkids are still in Cleveland area, but I live with my youngest daughter and that is really an adventure! Never know what's around the corner with this one!! Having a blast!
