Linda Doerksen Allen

Married Larry Allen in 1976 and had 3 babies, Jason, Alissa and Rebecca. Jason died as an infant.
Divorced in 1989 and raised Alissa and Rebecca as a single mom.
Currently I am living in Colorado caring for my elderly parents. My dad is 87 and my mother is 83 and both have health challenges. I am working at a major food distributor, but also building my own business with ACN in order to be financially independent.
My oldest daugher Alissa has been married to Ryan for almost 5 years and live in Albuquerque, NM. Ryan has been a youth paster and Alissa also has worked in ministy positions.
Rebecca is a teacher for children with Autism in Fresno and also works for Youth for Christ as a director for the internship program.
While living in Fresno before moving to Colorado, I was involved in Alan Autry's Autry Entertainment-Dirt Roads productions where I had the opportunity act, direct and be in a couple of independent films.
I also was involved in mentoring women in the Samaritan Woman's home. These are woman coming out of jail or prison desiring to change their livestyle.
In my busy lifestyle I was also in a leadership position at The Bridge in the Single Adults Ministry.
My life is now very full with the responsibility of caring for my parents and working.

Does anyone remember the final day of school, 1973 when some crazy girls sang, "Oh it's crying time again" over the school intercom? Yep, I was one of them crazy gals!
What about some of my acting classmates? Remember the fun we had in producing the stage play, Arsenic and Old Lace? We ran out of the silver hair spray that we used to make the look of gray hair and came up with the scheme of using baby powder to create "the look" only thing is, the powder went everywhere when any action happened on stage,, pretty funny! Anyone remember that?
