I cannot believe how fast the time has gone since graduation. I look through the names and many still bring a smile to my face. I even went to the shelf and dusted off the year book to show my kids what we all looked like. They had quite the laugh at our expense! I truly enjoyed the last reunion. It was nice seeing some of my oldest and dearest friends from grade school, Jeff Windus and Jay Boldt are among some that I have known what seems like forever. Jeff has even met my children. They say he looks the same - is that good or bad!!
Family life is good and I enjoy being a wife and mother. We have done some traveling out West and our most recent trip was touring the East coast. Mitch loves football, skiing and golf. Only one broken bone in all this time. He tolerates school, but does not quite see the big picture on the need to do well. Mom, how much do you really need to know to be a demolition expert? McKenzie loves school. She is on tennis team, however, her true love is music. She loves band, and is active in the pep band, jazz band and marching.
As a family we enjoy our "shack" in Door County, which allows us to do lots of biking and hiking. We do fish on occasion, but our new found love is kayaking. Bob and I pretty much take a back seat to the kids - which we don't mind. We enjoy watching them and cheering them on. I never thought having kids could be this much fun....
